The City of Bunbury has revealed its events calendar for summer 2016-17 and would like to announce a new addition to the list – the Victoria St Artisan Fayre. Victoria Street will be closed to traffic on Sunday 4 December from 4pm to as artisan stallholders, entertainers and local businesses take to the street. The even held in partnership with What’son Event SW will bring vibrancy to the CBD and create an opportunity for visitors to snap up a unique Christmas gift, catch some entertainment and sample local food from the Cappuccino Strip vendors. The City is currently calling on expressions of interest for entertainment and stallholders – more information can be found here. A week later will be the Bunbury’s premier festive season event – Christmas in the City. This family-friendly free event includes the popular Christmas street parade, markets, entertainment, food, activities and Carols Concert. Not to mention camel rides, Santa’s Wonder Workshop and community candle competition. This event kicks off at 3pm with the street parade beginning at 5.30pm and ending with concert at 7pm.
