The Bunbury Men of Song National Male Voice Festival 2018 is a four-day event involving workshops, free concerts, professional development stream and a grand finale concert at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre where organisers hope to have up to 300 men on stage. The Festival will be held from 21-24 of September 2018.
The event is open to all male voice choirs and individual male singers throughout Australia. There will be streams for junior voices, adolescent voices and mature voices.
The Festival Statesmen will be the headline act. Formed in April 2009 by Musical Director and Educator Jonathan Bligh, The Festival Statesmen Chorus is a dynamic all-male a cappella vocal group. The chorus exists to provide a platform for young Adelaide singers to achieve vocal and performance excellence. Membership ranges from middle school through to young adults. Among the ranks of singers are several small ensembles.
