Bunbury’s vibrant food truck scene is a bit of an enigma. But, when the apparition comes to life, it should not be missed. A few times a year the Bunbury Food Truck Fiesta pops up and introduces the city to a world of different ethnic foods that you just can’t find in restaurants. From the healthy and organic to the deliciously deep-fried, there is something for every appetite with more than 30 vendors serving up fantastic flavours. Bring a healthy appetite!
Over the year, our fabulous wineries offer a range of food and wine events to tantalise your taste buds. From Bakkheia’s Annual GSM (Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvedre) Masterclass, St Aidan’s Great Tempranillo Tastings, Oakway Estate’s Long Table Lunches, Green Door Wines Food with Passion Spanish Cooking Classes and Lunch, and much more.
With a booming craft beer and cider market across the country, the Bunbury Beer & Cider Festival provides a free family day out and showcases some of the Geographe and Western Australia’s finest breweries and cideries, along with gourmet food trucks, all on the picturesque and newly renovated Koombana Bay. Craft beer and cider lovers, this is where you need to be in February.
The South West’s premier charity food and wine event, the Chef’s Long Table Lunch, is now entering its 15th year. Run by community volunteers, the event has raised and distributed more than $850,000 to the South West community. In 2018, another 500 people will enjoy a stunning afternoon of exquisite food, delicious local wine, fabulous entertainment, an exciting auction, and a great day out with friends!

The Geographe Wine Show is Western Australia’s leading alternative wine show. First held in 2002, the show has become a prestigious annual opportunity for local wine producers to benchmark against the industry. The event culminates in a celebratory Gala Dinner with a three-course meal, a tasting of all entered wines and entertainment. As part of the Geographe Wine Show, expand your taste buds at a Wine Masterclass. You’ll get to sip lots of fabulous wine and receive a free Plumm wine glass for your troubles – what’s not to love!
Spring Feast in Guppy Park is a place where your taste buds will be entertained and challenged. Savour the best of the best in the Geographe at a long table lunch by acclaimed Market Eating House chef, Brenton Pyke - six sensation courses matched award-winning wines from the Geographe and WA Alternative Varieties Wine Show.
Take in the amazing botanical scenery at one of Australia’s best parks while sipping glasses of local wine and listening to tunes at the annual Golden Valley Spring Picnic. As always, the fairytale-element is on show, featuring live music, maypole dancing, pony rides, tug-o-war and a spectacular, crackling bonfire to finish off the night. You can BYO your own picnic or BBQ supplies, but we suggest you sample the fabulous produce and wine at the local stalls. Dress code – find your inner hippie
