Geographe Wine Show Masterclasses
17 September 2020 – 17 August 2020
5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

These casual and super relaxed vino masterclasses run by the Geographe Wine Show are so much fun!

The Geographe Wine Industry Association is excited to welcome back masterclass host – winemaking legend Julian Langworthy who is guaranteed to both educate and entertain.

Masterclass 1: Contemporary Australian Shiraz from Across The Country

Last year,  the Willow Bridge Estate 2018 Dragonfly Shiraz took out Wine Of The Show, so our first Masterclass this year will explore contemporary Australian Shiraz. Participants will taste Shiraz from all over the country. If you are a Shiraz fan this is a must for you, and if you are not, then this is the event where you can either re-think or understand your thoughts on this famous variety.

Time: 5pm to 6:15pm

Masterclass 2: Journey Around The Globe to the Great White Grape Regions

Take a global tour through the great regions to explore their famous white grapes. During the Masterclass, Chief Judge Julian Langworthy will talk terroir and what it means for Geographe? Think Portuguese Vino Verde, White Burgundy, German Riesling, Austrian Gruner, Italian Fiano, to name a few. We may not be able to get on a plan yet but we can still take a European Wine Flight.

Time: 6:45pm to 8:00pm

Venue: Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre – Capel & Harvey Rooms

Get your tickets ASAP as there are only 30 places available in each class and they sell out FAST!
