12 July 2019 – 12 July 2019
6:30 PM – 10:30 PM
The whole community is invited to the double whammy movie night. Free hot dog and popcorn in the break and complimentary tea/coffee. The Sky Bar will be open for additional refreshments and snacks. Doors open at 5.45pm for a 6.30pm start. The first screening will be Putuparri and the Rainmakers.  A universal story about the sacred relationship between people and place. The second screening will be Top End Wedding.  “Wayne Blair’s TOP END WEDDING has been hailed by reviewers at the Sundance Film Festival as a charming and funny cross-cultural romantic comedy which deals with love and family and second chances”. From the makers of The Sapphires, TOP END WEDDING is a celebration of love, family and belonging, set against the spectacular natural beauty of the Northern Territory. This heartwarming romantic comedy tells the story of successful Sydney lawyer Lauren (Miranda Tapsell) and her fiancé Ned (Gwilyn Less, Bohemian Rhapsody). Engaged and in love, they have just ten days to pull off their dream Top End Wedding. First, though, they need to track down Lauren’s mother, who has gone AWOL somewhere in the Northern Territory. (English /Tiwi) TICKETS ARE ESSENTIAL FOR CATERING PURPOSES AND SEATING.
