Cycling & Mountain Biking

For the latest challenge on two-wheels, head to BunGeo. From a relaxed pedal with the wind in your hair to a multi-day MTB adventure, the on and off-road cycle options in the region are challenging and spectacular.

Plus, if you love to ride, but also love gourmet stops, historic villages, stunning scenery and comfortable accommodation, you’ll love the Geographe.

Peak Rides
If you ride for a challenge, the freedom of two wheels and a landscape of awesome beauty, you’re in for a treat. Bunbury Geographe has some of the most undulating land in Western Australia, perfect for long climbs and speedy descents. With mountains, come valleys full of quiet roads, great coffee, breweries, cafes and cycle mad locals, ready to get your wheels spinning.

Coastal Flats
Not so keen on altitude – our coastal flats are perfect for kilometres and kilometres of speedy, flat country riding. Wind through the beautiful Tuart Forest or ride through fertile dairy farms.

BunGeo is quickly becoming a hub for whirling MTB groups with kilometres of top quality cross-country and downhill trails suitable for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. There are trails across the region, but the Collie River Valley is mad about MTB, and is quickly becoming a destination hot spot.

Don’t have gear? Hire a bike from the Kiosk in the Dam in the Wellington National Park and tackle the nearby Mount Lennard Tracks or pick up a bike at CranknCycles in Collie where the guys know everything there is about bikes and the trails around Collie.  A little further south in Lowden, MTB guru’s Cycletrek will hire you a bike to tackle their trails through beautiful Jarrah forest. A private 8km cross-country MTB loop available for riders to experience.
