The Bibbulmun Track is one of the world’s great long distance walk trails which traverses some of BunGeo’s most beautiful back-country. It’s very much a DIY holiday. Use of the trail is free with shelter huts along the way. They’re equipped with composting toilets, but you need to carry your food and sleeping bag. Bring a Sat phone too, as sadly internet connections are patchy at best. Alternatively, we recommend staying at one of the B&B, motel and chalet accommodation options located just off the track! During summer, take the Collie to Balingup section that passes past Glen Mervyn Dam. It’s a great place to cool off or just watch the sunlight reflect off the ripples.
