Join us for the 2024 Goomburrup Djinda Ngardak Gala Dinner.
Djinda Ngardak means “alive under the stars” in Noongar language. At the heart of this five-day culinary program is the sharing of presentations by regional ambassadors, a range of food masterclasses, a focus on product development using regional botanicals, as well as building industry-related skills to support career pathways in the tourism, hospitality, agriculture and business sectors.
The Gala Dinner is the celebration of the culinary journey where students work alongside local custodians, elders and some of Australia’s top chefs to develop a unique dining experience with First-Nations inspired dishes highlighting South West regional produce and seasonal native ingredients.
The evening’s entertainment features an immersive showcase of Aboriginal culture with art, produce, music by Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse and engaging activations by local Aboriginal creators and performers.
This evening is a celebration of life and culture. One that will connect you to the youth of the beautiful country we live on.
Proceeds support Prepare Produce Provide’s vision of inspiring vulnerable youth through innovative food education.
