Located in the heart of dairy country near Brunswick, it’s surrounded by lush green hills. The historic buildings including a hundred-year-old barn that can seat up to 80 guests. There’s a heritage rose garden with a collection of over 200 roses, as well as an orchard of pear and olive trees creating a perfect setting for your wedding photos. The Old Thomson Brook Church (formerly an Anglican Church) is a historic small church building surrounded by natural bush and rolling hills just south of Donnybrook. Finished in 1909 with red bricks handmade on site and jarrah trimmings, it's fab for those looking for a slice of vintage. BY THE WATERWith kilometres of untouched beaches, there is a special place in the #BG for you to tie the knot. Prefer something with facilities - Bunbury’s VAT2 and Koombana Bay Sailing Club are favourite venues. Other ocean views in Bunbury include Back Beach Cafe, Aristos, the Parade Hotel, the Bayview Bar, Mesa by Casella If a tranquil lake is more your setting, in addition to Edith Valley, brides should try Evedon Park Bush Retreat in the rolling hills of Burekup with a function centre for 150 guests. WHERE YOUR CREATIVITY AND PERSONALISATION CAN SOAR Get creative at Mornington Springs, a very private property nestled on 160 acres with the panorama of forest. They are renowned for very cool country weddings. It’s also the perfect place to go wedding glamping, with Soul Camping regularly used for guests. For a small, intimate gathering of up to 60, try to super talented and ultra-creative team at Happy Days Country Retreat. One of the owners is a chef, so the food is top notch too. AMONG THE VINES If you’ve always dreamed of saying I Do in a vineyard, St Aidans Winery is set in a picturesque boutique vineyard nestled in the heart of the Ferguson Valley. St Aidans has a beautiful alfresco open style reception centre that can seat 150 guests comfortably. Other #BG favourite winery venues with fabulous food are Capel Vale and Hackersley Estate. Further north, Harris River Estate is another perfect wedding venue - personalise your own wine bottles and enter the wedding by horse. RUSTIC APPEAL Wellington Forest is ideal for a rustic, forest wedding with awesome food.
