PICNIC
at Ironstone Gully Falls and discover the wildflowers. In winter, the stream, follows a course through one of the region’s many fine jarrah forests, and gently rambles over a series of rapids. The falls drop over a nine metre ledge. From August to October, the surrounding countryside abounds with a stunning display of WA wildflowers.

at the South West Rail & Heritage Centre. The Centre has regular open days, normally on the 4th Sunday of each month, with a special theme each time. On an Open Day, you can see more than just railway vehicles on display. Head to the Boyanup Farmers Markets, held on the 4th Sunday of each month from 8 am – 12 noon. The markets showcase the wonderful diversity of fresh locally grown seasonal produce all grown and picked close to the market keeping your food miles to a minimum.

Open Saturday & Sundays 10 am-4 pm. Capel Vale Winery was established in 1974 and offers high quality wines in a beautiful setting. The cellar door is open 7 days a week from 10.30 to 4.30.
