Myalup Pines Cottages were built to house forestry workers who were engaged in works in the area from the 1930s.
Today, these rustic cottages are the perfect place to reconnect and relax and are ideal for small groups.
Conveniently located only 150 km south of Perth, just off Forrest Highway, within the Myalup Pine Forest, the Cottages are only 5 minutes from Old Coast Road Brewery and 10-15-minute drive from Myalup Beach and Harvey.
The three-bedroom cottages sleep up to eight people in various bed configurations. Cottage number three is our four-bedroom that can accommodate up to 12 people.
All cottages provide crockery and cutlery for eight people, wood heating, toilets, and shower facilities under the main roof. Each cottage also provides a barbecue for outdoor cooking. However, guests must bring their own bathroom and bed linen.
Communal facilities include a BBQ area, an open fire pit, large green areas, bush walks of various distances, and a children’s playground. In addition, a hall with a large modern kitchen, a large-screen TV, and an AV system is available for presentations, conferences, and group gatherings.
The cottages are leased from the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions and managed by a board of management made up of Lions from District 201W2–a division of Lions Clubs International. Lions Myalup Pines Cottages is a not-for-profit project with a volunteer management board.
