Where else in the South West can you enjoy watching Salt Water Taffy, that American seaside sweet sensation, being pulled and wrapped the old-fashioned way?
Strawberry, Banana, Passionfruit and many more flavours of taffy are cooked in a big copper kettle, cooled, and placed on a specially made pulling machine. It’s pulled until it’s soft and glossy, then goes into our bright red 1920’s taffy wrapping machine, where it’s cut into bite size pieces and wrapped in wax paper. From there. it’s a short trip into your mouth!
Taffys is located on the Marlston Waterfront, just below the Barbados Restaurant and next to Aristos Waterfront Cafe.
We use traditional family recipes that have been perfected over 60 years of candy making, and are now available to you from Taffy’s kitchen.

Buckeyes, soft centred chocolate-dipped delights, are made in heaps of flavours like peanut butter, peppermint, and rum and raisin.
