A visit to the cellar door at Vineyard 28 is a little “Trip to Italy” via wine, where you will be greeted by the owner Pippa, or winemaker, Mark. Ask them how a Kiwi girl met a West Australian boy in Melbourne, and came to make Vineyard 28 and Harvey their family home. Indulge all your senses and enjoy a selection of wines which are unique and distinct in their varietal flavours, reflecting the terroir in which they are grown. Mark & Pippa encourage you to book a ‘28’ Grazing and Tasting Experience as it is the best way to explore the wines, accompanied by locally sourced fresh produce, all served with good old fashioned hospitality. You can enjoy this seated inside the purpose built limestone cellar door, or in fine weather at a table outdoors on the lawn, overlooking the vineyard.

Only 1½ hours south of Perth, conveniently located just off the Forrest Highway, approximately 5km south of Preston Beach in the Geographe Wine Region. Vineyard 28 is small family run winery. Owners Pippa and Mark Cumbers are involved in all aspects of the business, from growing the grapes to making the wine, and enjoy being able to share their passion for Italian varieties and story with visitors. The Cellar Door is open 10am to 5pm – Thursday to Monday. Other days by appointment.

Bookings can be made online, via email, or phone on 08 9733 5605. Larger groups of 8 or more persons are asked either make a booking online or contact the cellar door in advance of a visit.
