From the multi-award-winning composers of Wanjoo and Koolbardi wer Wardong, Gina Williams-Ghouse and Guy Ghouse, comes a new children’s production – Aliwah Bardinar! (Look Out, Rosella!). The performance celebrates the nyttiny (creation) story of how the Bardinar (Western Rosella) got its colours.
The performance includes spoken dialogue, solo and ensemble singing. Aliwah Bardinar! is suitable for children aged 4–12 years.
Featuring inspired set design by Fiona Bruce, vibrant costumes by Michelle Ward, gorgeous puppets, vivacious choreography and original new music, audiences will be entranced by the cheeky frog, the elegant swan and the beauty of the Noongar language.
Aliwah Bardinar! is performed by Gina Williams-Ghouse alongside phenomenal artists Jarred Wall and Julianna Marie, music directed by Pia Harris, and directed by Matt Reuben James War
