Youth Week WA
Youth Week WA is the biggest celebration of Western Australian young people on the WA calendar, held each year in April. Youth Week WA 2026 will take place from 10 to 16 April 2026.
This year’s theme “Strength in Our Stories” celebrates the power of young people’s lived experiences, diverse backgrounds, and the unique values that shape who we are. Proposed by WA young person Jesryl Santos, the theme highlights how our stories can inspire change, build resilience, and help us navigate challenges together.
Each year, Youth Week is supported by a team of inspiring Youth Ambassadors who help bring the celebration to life.
What is Woola Boola?
Bunbury’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) are proud to present Youth Woola Boola (meaning many celebrations), partnering with Beats N Streets to bring you a free community concert featuring local hip hop artists, food trucks and amusements at Koolambidi Woola (Bunbury Youth Precinct).
Want to perform?
You can! Join the musicology workshop on Friday 17 April from 3pm to 6pm, no registrations needed. Then jump on the open mic at the free concert on Saturday 18 April from 4pm. For more details follow YAC on socials.
