Garden Strolls & Heritage Trails
Stirling Cottage & Gardens
Originally home to author May Gibbs, the creator of Australia’s most iconic characters Snuggle Pot and Cuddle Pie. It is believed that May Gibbs drew much of her inspiration for her stories and illustrations from her experiences in Harvey. This beautifully reconstructed cottage is surrounded by vibrant gardens and overlooks the tranquil Harvey River. There’s a tearoom on site too, and with a cosy log fire it’s the perfect spot for a warm cuppa and hearty homemade soup.
